📣 Hey Moms!

Do you wish there was something amazing for your elementary kids (Grades K-5th) on Mondays?

“Courageous Kids” is held most Mondays during the Maries County RII Bland/Bell school year for K-5th graders beginning Monday, August 31st. The half-day camp is held from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Doors open at 7:45 a.m. for drop off.) Students must be potty trained.

We are committed to equipping the next generation to lead and succeed! Our team is excited to partner with you to make this year, your child’s best school year yet!

Courageous Kids offers a FREE, faith-based leadership and fine arts curriculum with Over the Top Fun!

Students participate in large group and small group games, activities and lessons for character building and communication skills shaping how students see themselves as leaders.

The result is a generation of students who leave school knowing how to lead with integrity and carry the values they’ve learned into every room they walk into for the rest of their lives.

DROP-OFF/PICK UP

Drop off time is after 7:45am and by 8:00 a.m. Pick up time is punctually at 12:00 p.m. (noon.)

Any parent arriving at 12:16 p.m. or after (no matter what the circumstance) will be charged a $2 per minute late fee for each minute late after 12:00 p.m. (Should late pick-up occur three times during a school year, the child will be unable to return for that school year. This fee is to encourage parents/guardians to be on time.)

Students should be brought to the Courageous Kids entrance of the church near the parking lot and pavilion. You must sign your student in and out at the kid's check-in station each day. Your student should come in with their parent/guardian. No student should be left at the door.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT & SPIRITUAL BELIEFS

We desire to instill in children the skills and character they need to succeed academically, emotionally, and spiritually. We will be teaching character-building traits that all children need to excel. All spiritual teaching at Courageous Kids Monday Camp is non-denominational and entirely Bible-centered.

We want students to know God created the world; that Jesus is God’s Son; that Jesus died on the cross for each of us; that Jesus is now preparing Heaven for us; that God loves your student and that Jesus is their friend. We believe health spiritually and emotionally comes from knowing they are a spiritual being created by God to bring Him glory in all they do. This goal will be taught through Bible stories, prayers, Christian music, and daily conversations where Jesus and God are included.

HOURS/CALENDAR

Courageous Kids Monday Camp is open from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Mondays when the Bland/Belle school is not in session, following the Maries County Bland/Bell R-II school district calendar. A yearly schedule of days in session will be communicated at the beginning of each school year. Should Courageous Kids be closed at any time due to inclement weather, it will be communicated through text message and on social media.

7:45 a.m.-8:10 a.m. Drop off, Kids Check-in, Free Play, Clean-up

8:10 a.m. Opening Intro, Prayer, Worship, Pledges & School Motto

8:20 a.m. Game/Ice-Breaker

8:35 a.m. Armor Up Kids - Equipping Kids to Succeed

8:50 a.m. Science Experiment

8:55 a.m. Elevate Kids Large Group Activitity

9:35 a.m. Bathroom break/Snack Time

9:45 a.m. Game #2/Recess

10:00 a.m. Music Class

10:15 a.m. Reading Song of the Day/Story Time/Books of the Bible

10:35 a.m. iLead/Character and Leadership small group time
